Jamie Camilleri

Hello! My name is Jamie Camilleri and I am a kindergarten teacher at Rogers Early Elementary School.  This will be my 16th year at Rogers.  Prior to teaching at Rogers, I taught preschool for three years.  Teaching and learning with young children is my passion.

 

I am a graduate of Eastern Michigan University where I earned my bachelor’s degree in elementary education with a minor in early childhood education.  I have also earned a master’s degree in reading from the University of Michigan-Dearborn.

When I’m not at school, I love spending time with my family and friends. My husband is also an educator. He is a special education teacher at Allendale Elementary. Together we have two daughters named Claire and Emma.  We love to play games, camp, swim, and travel.   With two teachers and two students in our household, it is safe to say that our world revolves around school!  

 

I look forward to meeting many of you in the near future and working with your child to have a fantastic year in kindergarten.  Rogers is truly a wonderful place to learn and grow, welcome to our family!
