Stephanie Young

Hello! My name is Stephanie Young, I am a Kindergarten teacher at Rogers Early Elementary.  

In 2006 I moved from Wyandotte, MI to Goodyear, AZ.  In Arizona I was a Kindergarten through 2nd grade teacher for 10 years.  After teaching I became an Academic Coach for K-8.  From 2017-2019 I served as an Assistant Principal (7th-12th grade) and Principal (K-8).  In August of 2019, my husband and I relocated back to Michigan where I joined the Roger's Family.  

I graduated from Wayne State University with my bachelors in elementary education with a minor in math.  I received my masters in Education Leadership from Arizona State University.  I am currently enrolled in courses at Arizona State University for Applied Behavior Analysis. 

I am married to my husband, Scott and we have two dogs- Coco (Australian Shepherd)- 13 years old and Chase (Boxer)- 6 months old.  During my free time, I like to cook, bake and run.

I look forward to meeting you and working with your child in this upcoming school year.  Rogers is an amazing place to grow and learn.
