Michelle Allen

Hello! My name is Michelle Allen and I am a first-grade teacher at Rogers School. I have been teaching for 13 years at Rogers school and have taught kindergarten, first grade, and Reading Recovery. I attended Eastern Michigan University for my undergrad degree as well as earning a Masters in Reading while attending. Teaching reading is my passion and I look forward to sharing my excitement with your children. 

 

I am married with 3 children who are 8, 7, and 5 years old and they are my whole world! We love taking vacations to the beach, biking, and swimming in our pool!! Our favorite vacation spot is in Traverse City, Michigan. We travel there every summer and spend a week enjoying the beach and the lake!

 

I am so excited to start this school year with all of you and hope you are as well!! The students and families at Rogers are always a wonderful group of people. I can't wait to meet you!!
