Bio

Hello!  My name is Mrs. Kozlo. I have been teaching for 23 years.  I spent three years teaching 3rd grade and then found my home and passion at Rogers teaching 1st grade.  I received my bachelors degree from Eastern Michigan University with a major in English and Language Arts and a minor in Math.  I then went back to Eastern for my first masters degree in Reading.  My second masters degree is in the Art of Teaching from Marygrove College.

 

I have been married to my wonderful husband for 20 years and we have 2 daughters, Sophia (15), Kassie (11), and an adorable 5-year-old pup named, Copper.  We enjoy spending time together as a family in our pool, traveling (especially to Northern Michigan), riding bikes and playing board and card games.

 

I love to read whenever I have the opportunity and especially love reading aloud to my students!  I also enjoy working out, being outside exploring nature and cooking, delicious healthy meals.
