Mrs. Jennifer Hodge

Hello All!  I am a first grade teacher at Rogers Early Elementary School.  This will be my 20th year teaching, and my 3rd year teaching for the MelNAP schools. 

 

I attended Western Michigan University for my Bachelor's Degree in Education.  I have an early elementary endorsement.  I received my Master's Degree from Eastern Michigan University in Reading.  I am currently attending WGU online to obtain my second Master's Degree in English Language Learning.

 

In my free time, I love spending time with my family.  I have been married for 17 years and we have 3 children, Isabelle (12), Nicholas (10), and Andrew (6).  We also have a pet rabbit, named Harry.  We love to vacation, go to the beach, and play board games.  We are a baseball/softball family and I enjoy watching my kids grow and learn the sport.  I LOVE reading and relaxing in the backyard, working on scrapbooks, and taking walks or riding my bike.

 

This year is going to be exciting and new for all of us.  I look forward to working with students and families.
